Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

The short version: SpeakDo collects no data about you. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no server of its own. This page exists to spell that out precisely.

What the app stores, and where

• Your tasks (titles, notes, dates, priorities, categories, completion state) are stored in a local database on your device.
• Your settings (theme, reminder defaults, recording preferences, custom categories) are stored in your device's local preferences.
• Nothing is uploaded, synced, or backed up by SpeakDo itself. Your data leaves the device only if you include it in your own device backup (iCloud or computer backups, governed by Apple's terms).

Microphone and speech

• The microphone is used only while you are actively recording a task, and is released when the recording ends.
• Speech is transcribed by Apple's on-device speech engine. On devices where the on-device engine is unavailable for your language, Apple's standard speech recognition framework is used as a fallback; that framework's handling of audio is governed by Apple's privacy terms and your iOS settings.
• SpeakDo never records in the background and keeps no audio files.

AI features

Task parsing, the daily briefing, weekly insights, and Ask AI run on the Apple Intelligence on-device model. Your prompts and your task data are processed on the device. SpeakDo does not send them to any third-party AI provider, and has no API keys, accounts, or cloud model integrations.

Notifications

Reminders and Pomodoro alerts are local notifications, scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. Notification permission is requested once, and everything works without it except the alerts themselves.

Purchases

SpeakDo Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) processed by Apple through the App Store. SpeakDo receives no payment details and no personal information from the transaction — only Apple's confirmation that the subscription is active, which stays on the device. Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings; nothing about your subscription is stored by SpeakDo itself.

This website

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Its hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP addresses) to operate the service, as any web host does.

Data deletion

Settings → Privacy → Delete all tasks removes every task and cancels every scheduled notification. Deleting the app removes everything else. There is no server-side copy to ask us to delete — none exists.

Changes and contact
